Terracore Adventures is a game currently under development by Play-Bit Entertainment, a small group of indie dudes down in Melbourne, Australia. Inspired by the classic 2D digging games of yesteryear and disappointed by the “me-to” nature of most games on Facebook. Terracore Adventures is a game that blends a mixture of arcade mining action with RPG elements like experience points and upgrading equipment. Please check back now and then to see the progress we make on this Game. We plan to release Terracore Adventures in August 2010.

Thanks for the kind comment Logan. :)

We're working hard to create a small game with a lot of polish. :D

Description

Our team comprises of three individuals. Myself who's in charge of design, business and community management for the project. Ben who is the programmer and Unity-based guru of all things code. And then there's Josh our talented artist.

I don't kid when I say that Josh is indeed quite talented. As team lead I let him create his own ideas of how Terracore Adventures should look. Giving input when desired but never imposed as I believe in his abilities to develop a consistent and engaging art-style.

I wasn't disappointed when he came to show me a mock-up of what the game would end up looking like. We're gone for a child's storybook art style. Intended to be organic and colourful in appearance I think it strikes a great contrast to all the vector-art styling we see in other Facebook games.

I think Terracore Adventures will truly look fantastic when we start to implement all the art assets together.
