Innovative gameplay, control method, excellent story, atmosphere. Mixed two generes FPS and adventure, the first of this kind. Customizable experience: you can tune combat, cyberspace, story and general difficulty.
A mind blowing game with ground breaking technologies.
The first and the ultimate game.

Don't be deceived by the dated graphics and clunky controls; once you get past those problems, you'll fall in love with this game. It's incredibly immersive, fun and innovative for its era. In some ways, it's even better than the more known System Shock 2. Thanks to Night Dive Studios, now you can enjoy this timeless classic with enhanced controls (especially mouselook!) and higher resolution just for ten dollars. Absolutely recommended.

Obviously a timeless masterpiece.
