Star Wars: The Old Republic, abbreviated TOR, is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game set in the Old Republic era, and is currently under development by BioWare, a division of Electronic Arts. The game was first officially announced in an October 30, 2007 press release, though details were vague. On October 21, 2008, the title of the game was revealed, in addition to a fair amount of detail about the game in a press conference. A novel, released around the same time as the game, will cover the story behind it.
The Cinematics are wonderful, i would say 10/10 , but the game itself... I'm not what you can call an MMO Fan. I was hoping that it would be a normal Single-Player game. Also, the game is named "The OLD Republic", and not "The Clone Wars", nevertheless its too much "clonewarsish". I'm honestly disappointed. The future SW Games will hopefully be more than just licensed online mmo's which want to beat established trademarks like WoW. But it seems that, since TFU, Star Wars isn't Star Wars anymore...just think at the desastrous Kinect-title.
