We regret to inform you that Lucasfilm has denied our request, we want to thank you though for your support but this wont be the last your hear of us. We won't be deleting our content that we have created but we will store it for the time being, and if we don't see Knights of the Old Republic 3 in the next ten years, Then we will present our case again to them. But on a personal note, perhaps this may encourage EA to pick this up, as there is great potential for this. We will keep doing our best and pleading with EA and Disney to let us make this game.
This is a design concept, for illustration purposes only, we want your opinions of the different style of buttons, which ones would you like to see in the launcher when we make it available for download? ...before you ask, early in-game footage will be available on the website 31st July.
Good can't wait for ingame footage!
Also what do you guys mean by "Content Submission"
As for the actual launcher well it seems a tad blocky and 2004ish but that kind of adds to the nostalgia:D
by content submission we want content authors to be able to send their content for us to look at, from quests and mission items to user interfaces or textures, and if we like what we see then we will put it in the game and give the author 1st line credit for their submission, also display their submitted content in a concept art gallery in game too! and we want people to do this as simply as possible, by simply clicking and uploading to our servers.
And well as for the launcher, we want to have that 2004ish nostalgic feel as that is the effect we are working to achieve.
Question, will the buttons have the same sound as in Kotor 1 & 2. The sound of the buttons is something that I think I remember most about the games.
we will be keeping sounds of the user interfaces as we want to make the game as authentic as possible.
cant wait man you doing a great service here cant wait to see some game footage
Awesome that this game is going to be real game (not just fake, troll etc.)
Tip for DroitechGames: Make multiplayer to this game and remember to do one thing : Role Play gamemode, so we can act our characters, we can live like them. Something like Gothic Multiplayer modification.
And one question. Will people can make mods for it? I mean total conversions and just little things? It could be great to add new skins etc.
I'm very excited for this as I'm sure many people have told you. I was wondering if you're going to use a customization system similar to Neverwinter Nights and the original two games or are you going to do something more free form such as fallout?
We want players to have an overhauled version of the TSL customization system, as we think there's a lot more than can be done to make it so much better.
Please. I am counting on you to make this great. I have a few questions if you can answer them. What are you guys planning on doing for the combat? Please keep it the same as the previous games. As a huge fan I don't want a failed 3rd person shooting game I want a true Bioware/Obsidian RPG styled combat game. What kind of assets are you using from the original games? Like what will we be seeing that's familiar to KOTOR 1 & 2?
You mentioned before that you were going to be working on other games as well. Could you release some of the game that you would be potentially working on? Curious if you ever played Fable TLC. Always felt that they ruined the story after the first one. Btw in Elder Scrolls Oblivion some of the quests have more of a "investigative" or "do it yourself" feel to it. Games in our generation like to lead you in baby steps to your objective. Just was wondering if you give some quests some surprising twists to where spend a good deal of time trying to figure out the entire situation at hand. Dark Brother Hood saga is a good example.
The interface looks a little 2002 ish..unless this is your intention.
