Is there a way to make it so mountains and forests can generate on certain planet types so they aren't all just large plains with canyons and such in them? Still looking great though!

There definitely is, in this next update, we have 2 planet types but in future updates you can expect all types of planets from our own solar system and more!

Very interesting. :) Looks like a futurist, high-tech version of Minecraft.

How deep are the worlds in number of blocks? 128 like Minecraft?
Do you use a similar chunk system (looks like it from the loading) or 3D chunks?

Hi, thanks for your comment!

The world currently have a starting height of 64, but can be infinite in all directions. I'm not using 16*16*128 chucks like minecraft does, but 16*16*16, since planets are only one type of object you can see in starmade.

This looks so awesome but one suggestion, I like what you did with the planets but perhaps you can do something to make them look like real planets when you are far away and then when you get closer the spherical planet skin goes away and you can see the planet disk

doom dont forget its a simple game like minecraft but it is possible cause we already have spherical planets for the death stars :)

Looks awesome, especially that second deserted planet! The space background with the red lighting is really nice there. I would really like to see some spaceship battles!

this would be cool to start off on a planet, and you would have to build the spacecraft then explore 8) I so want this game, minecraft has lacked allot lately and that is new default enemy's 8)

I'm really liking the flat planets thing. I just think they should be a LITTLE bigger, also, if ever possible, water will be a cool thing to add to planets.
