This MOD will attempt the marriage of the sim-like qualities found in vehicle oriented Mecha games such as Starsiege and Mechwarrior with the fast paced action of FPS games like Tribes' The game will have air and land vehicles as well as ground based infantry units' The battlefields will consist of everything from earthlike terrain to lunar landscapes and other alien settings' Players will be able to outfit their chosen avatars with weaponry and special components in such a way as to enhance their specific playing styles'

We've picked up 4 new members on the staff this past week, which we are pleased as punch to get.

Edgen will be joining our musical staff. He does the best damn orchestral arrangements I've ever heard, it's simply amazing. You can check out some of his work by clicking on the sound sampler app at the top right of our project site and choosing tracks 4 or 5. He also does some mean Flash and sketch work.

Konrad will be heading up our Quality Assurance team. He's worked in QA for Electronic Arts in their sports games division, he worked on the Rune beta development team, he has computer hardware knowledge, and has working knowledge of C++, java, VB, MFC, and some other languages, which will help him work well with...

Roy Fokker, who is the first member of our programming staff. He is able to fluently speak 3 languages: English, Hindi and Gujarati (hey I think that's impressive) and has experience with HTML, DHTML, ASP, PHP, VBScript, JavaScript, SQL, MS Access, XML, C/C++, Cobol and Visual Basic.

Weav will be coming on board and acting as our supervisor/liaison for our alpha/beta testing teams, and will be working closely with Konrad on quality/play balancing issue. He will also be working with Hexabolic on any story/fiction related issues and also helping out with our forthcoming "community building" project.
