Hello Everyone!
The week has come! 4th of August (In just 3 more days), Squidditch will become fully released!
This project will always be remembered as our first published game so thank you for joining us if you are reading.
But put all of that on hold, because we got all new features! Ever felt like you couldn’t afford all the customizations? Well great news because now boosters can drop from enemies! These boosters will be shown as a piece of sushi with a glow around it. You will be able to tell the difference in these boosters by their colour
Purple = Body Damage
Green = Spread Fire
Yellow = Rapid Fire
Orange = Magnetic
We also changed some of the stats of the boosters to make them more worth it.
Magnetic lasts 60 seconds up from 20. Price changed to 20c.
Rapid Fire, lasts 15 seconds up from 10. Price changed to 60c.
Spread Fire, lasts 15 seconds up from 10. Price changed to 80c.
Body Damage, lasts 10 up from 6. Price changed to 50c.
We changed this so players could have more access to the boosters so they could be engaged in the gameplay rather than trying to get boosters. As you can see from the picture, you can also see we have made changes to the shop UI to boosters and the hats. We did this to clean things up as well as make things a lot easier to read with lighter colours as the background and black as the text colour.
Now to REEL you back in, (hehe puns) we realized that players can just alternate in 2 lanes and just live forever. So to give a little more challenge to the players, hooks will now drop from the top of the screen that will drag the player up the screen, Here is a visual!
