Spud's Quest is an indie adventure game for Windows that draws its inspiration from retro classics like the Dizzy series, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid. The project was successfully funded on Kickstarter in November 2012. Take on the role of Spud and his friend Prince Charming, who has been cursed by an evil wizard and turned into a frog. The pair set on a journey to uncover four ancient elemental essences that have the power to banish the evil and remove the curse.

I've been watching several lets play of Spud's Quest and i must say it looks fun. Love the Retro look. Reminds me of Sega Genesis era. Good Work
Awesome, beat it several times now and can't stop playing it - still looking for hidden items and secrets. In many ways even better than many of the Dizzy games it emulates so well. Lends itself well to speed-running as well as to completitionist runs, includes plenty of puzzles plus action elements - fun for all! It's been years since I've played anything like this, but it was well worth the wait.
