A two player 2D top down space shooter, inspired by the classic 1979 Asteroids game by Atari. This games allows two player to go head to head in a pixelated space battle, grabbing power ups and outmaneuvering each other to get in for the perfect shot. Designed for gamepad use, however keyboard controls also work
Well I had an awesome time trying to play this game, even if I did it all by myself, because I'm just forever alone and stuff like that... I like that it is a game that is doing it's best to stay retro-based and yet the look is kinda outstanding. To the best of my knowledge, there is only one song that plays the whole time but it's sounds good (even though I really wish there was more than one song...)! The best thing I like about this game is that it's a free game, and on steam these kinds of games cost 5 dollars. Really wish they weren't, but they are...so...this is a good alternative...
