Space Warfare: Infinite is a Sci-Fi space combat game that allows you to engage in all sorts of scenarios from massive fleet to fleet battles to one-on-one pirate duels from any of the ships perspectives. Jump in to a fighter and prove you are the fleets next ace. Or command the power of capital ship reducing enemies to space junk in a single beam blast. The game is set in a world of extensively settled space, crumbling empires and alliances, and threatening neighbors waiting to strike at humanity. Along with the campaign stories, there will be a mission editor where player can create their own battles or entire expansions.

I've been working on getting the capital ship movement working properly and it's coming along. They turn and rotate pretty gracefully. Its a little different for the player to control so I've added a mouse orbit type feature to that you can see around the ship and zoom in and out. I still need to figure out what feels most natural for steering these beasts. Lining up the big guns on the front needs to feel more like steering. The AI scripts for the fighters actually seem to translate alright for the AI cap but I want it to have its own maneuvers. Also caps will need to roll to give their turrets better shots on targets beside and below so the AI will need to detect this and make an adjustment. The current AI also doesn't stop and line up a big gun shot, it just circles -like the fighters - but since its turn radius is enormous it never lines up a big gun shot with its target.
