This is Socuwan, a game which in 2017 will be an MMO of epic proportions! Craft, skill and battle your way to fame and glory in a world that is heavily based around PvP. However, this is no ordinary RPG...this is an MMORPG with a massive twist and a game-play like no other! Unfortunately I cannot reveal what this special game-play is quite yet, so watch this space!

The game is written in Java and uses OpenGL. Currently I am the only developer but will be putting together a team later this year. You can watch weekly devlog videos on my Youtube channel.

There's nothing like a few foxes and a whole load of butterflies to liven up a game! Last week both of these were added to the world, along with a few pretty flowers!

As well as the additional wildlife there's also a new tavern model, and the new attack editor tool is coming along nicely. You can see all of these new models and updates in the devlog video below, and there are many more where that came from on my Youtube channel!

Hey, do you use gluLookat for your 3rd person camera? if not, could the camera code from your tutorial series be made available somewhere? Could really use this for I game i'm starting up on.

Have a look at my 19th OpenGL tutorial, it will take you through all of the camera code and explains all of the calculations in detail :)
