Sim Hero Classic is an RPG/Simulation game where you manage groups of adventurers & send them into dungeons. This game can be thought of as a cross between an 8-bit CRPG & a typical sports-sim. Sim Hero is the most feature-rich rpg management sim that exists in the world... no, really! Oh, and it's FREE!

first off all i played about 20-25 hours and started several times over due to dead leader or dead champion some quick save option with atleast 3 save slots would be nice. i have to say its very hard for your champion or leader to survive. I know i can use xp/jp pot's on them, but i dont have enough pots to push 2 chars... its only enoguh for the leader. Sure i can swap the champion in and out of party but its getting verry annoiying after a while with the UI. my current play i have discovered 4 map tiles..now otw to first temple with about 10 jobs at lvl 10/10ish the hardest part of the game are the events.. nowhere it mention that the drawbacks from the events counts on heartbeat... so you have to kill them otherwise your progression will be slowed down way too much when you have to handle -happiness events. brewing the ale and get villagers as entainerners cost too much when you have 3-4 -happiness crisis out there. but even with my 10/10 beast tamer ( white wolf pet) he will die sometimes on crisis. there need to be a hint how hard the crisis will be, like how many enemys you will facing. the other thing that could need some improvments are the armor system. maybe some minor bugs? but why my horsemann cant equip "charger" mount? 1. crisis events are too hard, cant tell the difficulty of each crisis we need some hitns what level, how many , what type. - if you dont handle the crsises you got overwhelmed very quick and cant progress anymore. 2. level up leader, champion/guard is to hard with xp/jp pots alone. we need some arena style battles for leader and or champion/guard w/o death ofc^^ to get a hang of our performance. 3. armory system need some tooltips, like what class can wear wich armor. in character screen would be good - the (slow) attribute on weapons is irretating, first i thouhgt i - why my horsemann cant equip "charger" mount? bug? - when you hit optimize, especially for weapons, then the job weapon should be used and not the weapon which provides most HP. i.e mywarrior keeps equipping axe when i hit optimize, but he need hammer for his skills (is this even true? that the job need the weapon mentioned in the skill to activate it? ) - when traders are coming, not all chars are listed in the right - best solution would be if you mark an item to buy and it will only 4. managing your partys with drag and drop would be sweet, like clicking on "change party" to activate drag and drop 5. heroe recruiting: when you ugrade your wayrest to lvl3 you - or let the hereo recruiting as is, and made it so that you can choose your badge from a list. like lvl 3 barraks choose t1 or or get random t1/t2 badge maybe (too much randomness shouldnt be the point, this game takes rly long and ppl want to make own decisions) 6. this is my first game in this genre, but wouldnt it be a lot cooler if you can prioritze skills ? like every char got 3 priority slots, so you can engange a lil bit more in battle. i.e i rarly see my witch casting sleep. would be cool if she 7. when you play with heartbeat on in menu, would be nice if, so you have time ro reorganize your villagers im looking forward to your 2nd kickstarter campagne |

hi i am going to explain something that i found i think but well the thing is that i think i found the afk mode in the game you only need two things first, you have no one in the dungeon, second have food stability, then you have to go to the system thing in the menu and turn off the pause heartbeat, now you put the resourses that you want in the villagers menu, remember you need have stability in the food or happyness, then you keep the menu and the game open and you are playing the game in afk mode there will be no stop in the game unless you exit the menu, all the events will keep appering but only if you exit the menu ( one time i accumulate like 15 events ), than you for the game. |

First of all thanks for the great game, it's so much fun! I agree with most points of rutkowskidominik (1. 3. 4. 5. and 6.). As for 2) I never had problem keeping my leader alive and boosting him, though losing champions (strong ones!) on alloys and events is very annoying - after a few ragequits I completely gave up on alloys as they really don't give that much but you can lose a lot on them and used diplomats for relations; and used my strongest fighting hero for every single event, swapping him in/out.. so annoying. I suggest to rework/remove the concept of "Champion" or at least make it easy to select one (make heroes already assigned to a party appear on the pop-up menu for example and if you select them remove from the corresponding party), or maybe make it possible for a Champion to be a party member at the same time, making the Champion title more like a "flag" for a selected hero, since its You who have to send your Champ everywhere actually. (Can't do the same to Guard Hero as he is involved in immediate events.. Where he gains almost zero XP and JP which could be changed as well.. ). My biggest problem with the UI is villager management.. My usual strategies require a lot of micromanagement (of many villagers..) which is very hard with the current controls. Beside the standard "+" and "-" there should be some kind of "++" and "--" for adding/removing 5 or 10 villagers to a job with one click (5 should be fine). Also, a selectable "lock" option would be very good for each job, making the complete reset (the + of the topmost job, can't remember the name Xd) unaffect those jobs. One more idea is to introduce a completely turn-based mode (maybe selectable in the options), where heartbeats only occur when you click on a button or press one on the keyboard (Space for ex.). I never had a problem with time going fast, on the contrary, I'm suggesting this because my gameplay rythm is like reorganize -> wait 7-10 turns -> Repeat so I can do those 7-10 turns fast and have a bit more time for management in between those. Of course as I understand dungeon-clearing time is somewhat independent from heartbeats, so maybe this means they need to be given a heartbeat "cost" as well, so if it is problematic then ignore this suggestion Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward for next version! |

I've been playing 2.04 and I'm having a problem with relations with the elf, orc and dwarf neighbors. In previous versions I could trade gems for relation point via diplomats. I've progressed through the entire game and beaten the final boss, but still can't seem to unlock the diplomat villager assignment. I think it used to unlock after a level 2 dwarf quest. I've completed that quest multiple times, but the caravan stays on screen and I still don't have the option to assign diplomats. I like using the recruits from the fae tree. I currently can't because my relations with the elves are too low. Great game, love the progress from v. 1 to v 2. I can't wait to see what future updates bring! |
