First off, thanks for putting in the tutorial early on. It's a fantastic idea!

Secondly, the game functions really well already. It's better than most games at the Alpha stage, so well done!

That said, I have a few suggestions:

  • Have tooltips for the icons displayed in things like Abilities and Obstacles, so that the player can just hover over the tooltip and see what it means. I see that there are some tooltips on certain pages, but not all
  • Tooltip for bars like the XP bar in the Hero->View page in the Great Hall, to see how much XP the hero has. If you don't want to display XP as a number, how about a percentage? That's not giving much away, since you can sort of eyeball the percentage, but it would be nice to have some sort of concrete number.
  • In every detail page, such as the Hero detail page, have "Previous" and "Next" buttons in the page to be able to go to the previous or next item in the list without having to go back to the page with the list

That's it for now.

One more thought: incorporate forums and/or chat into the game itself, so that players can share thoughts and strategies with each other without having to come to a separate forum like this one. It would be neat to be able to browse kingdoms, see the player that owns a kingdom, and IM them.

Of course, that could be a fairly big ask. You'd then have to worry about people spamming each other. Maybe there's a way to integrate a forum like phpBB, if you wrote a custom module to link the player database to the phpBB database?
