Patch3 XP Compatibility Combined file - Sid Meier's Gettysburg!

*The Patch3_XPCompatibility_Combined patch contains both the old smgpatch3 and the XP Compatibility patch. Using this patch will allow the game player to easily switch between the two patches as needed when playing SMG on Windows 7. This is very important. Once you have installed SMG, you must install the smgpatch3_Update patch to your SMG game in order for it to play on Windows 7. If you don't, when you go to launch the game, you will either get an error message, or the game will crash to desk top. The game will NOT launch using the Lee.exe initially installed with the game. Another quirk about SMG for Windows 7 users is, you cannot save games using the smgpatch3 patch, BUT you can play continuous scenario such as the "3 Days of Gettysburg. If you use the XP Compatibility patch, you cannot play the "3 Days of Gettysburg", BUT you can now save your games. As a result, this new patch was created in order to allow the game player to easily switch between the two patches as needed.
