Shepherds of the Abyss is a multiplayer tower defense game. Players unlock, level-up, and specialize hero units - the Shepherds - and send them forth into their opponent's maze(s), where they use their passive abilities, active abilities, and ultiamte abilities to overcome their defenses. Players on defense build intricate mazes around randomly spawned obstacles, and use upgraded mana towers to cast defensive spells of their own.
