Shallow Space is a 3D Real Time Strategy game inspired by Nexus: The Jupiter incident and Homeworld. Shallow Space focuses on organised mass RTS space combat in a fully 3D environment. Ships in Shallow Space are nearly always grouped into Flotillas and Wings, and orders issued to these structures cascade to the subordinate members. Rather than stressing out clicking on the units or dragging selection boxes during the heat of battle, standing orders are issued in advance leaving you to zoom around, activating abilities and arranging support and reinforcements. Should the tide turn in battle traditional control is still available.
Enry gets the hang of creating skyboxes, I remember to put the thruster flares back in and put in icons for the distant ships. There is something eerily beautiful about these screenshots... (for me anyways)
I can't wait to ditch those god awful laser pulses - one of the guys has something sexy in the works :D

Yeah they do remind me a lot of Nexus in that promo vid - I'll probably use them for solid rounds. The new ones are looking a bit too Star Wars at the minute...

Hey my other guy is handling that asset and I have no idea how he is doing it! :/ I suspect there is plenty of information on the net though, I know it didn't take him long to learn...
