Description

Setting sun is an upcoming Roguelite Dungeon Crawler. It's set in a universe during the Japanese Edo period where Yokai roam the world freely. The land is in turmoil because the Shogun rules with an iron fist. A couple of mysterious wanderers answer the call to help mankind and try to fight the source of the corruption together.

History

I've always had a big affinity for the oriental, and being a fan of the diablo games I always wanted a game where both elements are put together. So seeing as nobody was making it, I thaught I'd just do it myself.

That was the original idea but after prototyping I stepped off from that idea because I figured the scope was a bit too much for 1 guy.

Because I was playing a lot of rogue legacy at the time I decided to revamp the game to a roguelite dungeon crawler which turned out to work pretty well so I continued to work on it whenever I could.

Aside from that I was also looking for work in the game dev sector and I figured it was a good way to showcase my work for my portfolio.
