Ruben is Sleepy is a quick-fire high score-chaser from the Help Volty dev
Out right now on Android and coming to iOS
Ruben is Sleepy is a slightly odd twitchy arcade game from the dev behind Help Volty. It's out right now on Android and should be hitting iOS in the not-too-distant future.
The game sees you playing as a strange, TV-addled creature that, upon falling asleep, finds itself tumbling through a nightmarish void that's full of old televisions.
These sets are either pink or blue, and you need to tap on the screen to change Ruben's hue so, when he hits one of the TVs, he doesn't die.
It's a quick fire blast, and the farther you tumble the quicker the TVs come up at you.
There are a variety of power-ups you can buy with in-game currency to make things a little simpler for you too.
The game is very much in the high score-chaser bracket, and while it's not quite as devilish as the very best reaction games, it's still pretty fun.
You can grab a free version of the game from the Play Store [download] and if you like what you see fork out for the full version that features more songs and more power-ups for £1.58 / $1.99 [buy].
