Thought to be forever abandoned after the breakup of the Soviet Union, the ambitious Yak-41 project to develop a Navy VTOL fighter not inferior in major parameters than normal planes, Yak-41 is back again.
Because of the impending war with EU in the Arctic and Turkey in Central Asia, Russia needed to bring back as many retired aircraft carriers as possible, but the only "usual" aircraft carrier was the Kuznetsov. The others were meant to house VTOL fighters and since the outdated Yak-38 was of no use today, Yak-41 was hurriedly redeveloped and hastily put into service.

If provided equal numbers, Yak-41 is a menace for current EU harrier jumpjets and rebel Uzbek\Tajik air force pilots who defected to Great Turan.
