A team of special operatives, known as the H.U.N.T. (High-risk United Nations Task-force), is sent to San Nicolas Island to investigate deadly cult activity taking place in an ancient monastery. Their boat, the only way back, is destroyed by patrols, and the team soon learns that the cult plans to systematically destroy nearby Los Angeles. The operatives, now unable to return whence they came, are then left to fight their way into the monastery on the island, and eventually put a stop to the cult's activities.

how do i install it? im using dosbox?

DosBox won't work, you need WinROTTGL which is a sourceport for ROTT, Or use another port called ElOscuro which works on Windows 10, I didn't see this post until just now.. Sorry

gotcha. so sound slike this is the one to use. so im guessing all rise of the triad files are like that then?
unforunate the other oen was nto reachable. oenday si probably work again.
how often do this source port gets updated?
Not very often, The last update was a few years ago but the last post noted that modern systems can run WinROTT but you need windows XP compat set
so im guessing what i nneed to do i use dossbox for installation? then winrott?
Install the full game, Then copy and drag all files to WinRott and then drag the files of Extreme ROTT to WinRott
i notice these particular files are bin an cue? how do i unpack those?
Use MagicISO to convert to ISO, You can use a unregistered version to do this.. I forgot to do so when archiving this file.. Im sorry

Yes, It will pester you to buy it a lot but you can use it without needing to register.
Converting works like this: Select tools and highlight "convert", Choose directory of the bin file (cue is not needed) then convert to iso, Use winrar to open the iso file.

Take the patches to the main folder and place them and it should auto organize (if not drag files to "addons" folder you create) and run WinROTT, DOSBox is not needed unless WinRott won't respond, Even with latest "updates" its still very glitchy

Icarus is a rott port, its fine, Yes Civvie11 also made a list of porta on his rise of the triad video on youtube
