It has been 3 months since the destruction of Raccoon City. Claire Redfield travels to Europe in search of her brother. Claire infiltrates the Paris laboratory of Umbrella Corporation, but is captured after a heated gun fight. It's the first Resident Evil game to use 3D backgrounds instead of the traditional pre-rendered ones. It's gameplay is similar to Resident Evil 2 but with features of Resident Evil 3. A special feature of this game is the inclusion of various dual wielding pistols, allowing the player to target two enemies at the same time. The more remarkable improvements in Resident Evil Code: Veronica are the continues (which allow the player to retry a scene when killed) and the possibility to take/use a healing herb when the player's inventory is full. The game is quite challenging (one of the hardest Resident Evil games) and you’ll be cornered by enemies (hard to kill) that could take all your health and ammo.
