re2 sherrys revenge by hotpotato this was originally going to be raccoon hell hard mode but i turned it into a new mod instead. use the bio2 exe provided or this mod will crash. mod is for leon a, claire b. leon b claire a may not work. the williams in the rpd main hall one has a key the others have an item each. above is for leon. claire no key take all drops from enemies before leaving the rooms with drops. hope you all enjoy!! if any bugs please report them to me. hotpotato#8187 discord Massive thanks to everyone at classic re modding regards hotpotato

Claire B bug : game crash when entering library. (room1121.rdt)
testing : use original room1121.rdt to replace mod's room1121.rdt , game ok.
Is it first time entering library or after club key? As my friend just completed claire b no crash but i can look into this
testing report :
1.after using key card , then enter library - crash
2.after having all keys , crank and cogwheel , enter library -crash
3.enter library from (room110) or (room113) -crash
4.use debug jump from any room to library - crash
5.use original emd1 to replace mod's emd1 , enter library - crash
6.use claire b save file which you provided , enter library - crash
Thankyou for testing that for me iv checked on my end and its not crashing but i think it could be birkin causing it so ill patch the library today :) thankyou again for finding that for me

Item drop? Yeah the last boss has no item drops :)
previous version testing update :
1) If played as Claire A , enter library (room1121.rdt) no problem , Birkin and Mr.X inside the room.
2) Played as Claire B , use core to seal west side windows(room204) , then debug jump to library , or jump to other 3 rooms enter library , no crash. Birkin and Mr.X not found inside , but exit library and enter again , Birkin and Mr.X appeared.
3) use core to seal east side windows(room20F) , jump to library - crash
4) without using core , jump to room204, then jump to library , no crash
5) get out from any room (except room204) move to library , crash.
6) get out from any room , go to room204 , then go to room113 enter library , no crash.
conclusion :
7) to avoid the crash , you have to enter library first without loading any save files.
8) if you load the save file , you have to go to room204 first before entering library.
Yeah the crash should be fixed now with the last update :) library just doesnt like birkin being in there 😒

After I get the 4th plug I jump down through the passage from the clock tower. After the cutscene which is Ben attacked by Birkin, the game crashes to desktop.

Did you kill the 2 mr x who were in the room the first time you went there? If not that may be the issue but ill have a look into this to see if i can replicate and fix the issue :)
You mean the 2 Mr. X in the library? Yes, I did kill them.
The ones in the room before ben?
I also killed the 2 Mr. X before meeting Ben the first time.

I am using the 12-10-2022 created version 1.0.9.0. My settings are the usual ones that I use with other Bio/Re games - like QuickturnEnable; AutoAimEnable; DebugMode; and JapaneseDisable, etc..

Hmm yeah im using the same settings as you :( idk why its crashing there for you tho as iv been trying to replicate it on my end and have also asked all my mod testers and people who have streamed it and none of them are crashing in that area :( did you unpack the .7z? And also have you tried going the long way instead of going down the shoot? Thats the only other thing i can think of for a workaround? Sorry its crashing for you tho. If none of the above helps you could redownload and replace the .7z again

I'll try reaching your discord next time. Before that I can tell you, I tried going the long way with out jumping down the shoot. I also tried to redownload the mod too but all without success.
Try these :
1) play Vanilla RE2 (Original RE2) Original Mode Leon A , any crash after Ben attacked by Birkin ?
if 1) no crash , try :
2) copy Sherry's revenge mod save file to original RE2 savedata , run original re2 rebirth exe file , check if any crash after Ben attacked by Birkin.
if 1) and 2) crash :
reinstall original re2.
if 1) and 2) no crash , try this :
rename config.ini to config.ini.old , run re2 rebirth exe file to regenerate new config.ini

if no one can tell what's the problem from the picture you send , then
2) upload all your biohazard 2 (resident evil 2) folders and files to google drive , send the share link , maybe someone will going to test.

Ahh Okay :) also make sure you are using the bio2.exe thats included with the mod. contact me on discord and i will send you a fresh copy of re2 to try with the mod to see if that fixes the issue as iv checked everything on my end and cant replicate the issue :)
