With haste, Nod deploy a small outpost to take over the Island and jammed GDI Communication system. If Midway Island was taken over by Nod , it is within range that Nod can launch an suprise attack on Pearl Harbor also the headquarters of the GDI Pacific Fleet. GDI on the other hand, unaware of an imminent attack on the GDI Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor.
