so far for Dendroaspis polylepis, we have several things set up that could be enough for a demo, but we want the community to have a good impression of our game, no matter how bad it is or how much the name doesnt sound right. these things that we have are:
- 2 enemy types, which i will demonstrate what they do in a video soon.
- A character that only moves left and right, for the sidescroller part.
- Random health drops from the enemies
- and we have a nice little level with a decent background
what we are planning to implement into the game is:
- At least 1 more enemy types [high priority]
- more balanced damage between player and AI [normal priority] [done]
- make the level better [ normal priority ]
- add an experience system [ low priority]
- add some music [ normal priority ]
- add a start menu [HIGH priority] [50% done]
- add multiple levels [normal priority]
- and add credits [low priority]
positions for developing this game:
-at least one more Unrealscript coder [ for the enemies code ]
- 2 people who can make skeletal meshes with blender [ because we need custom weapon looks and model looks]
- somebody who can make materials that can be used in UDK [for originality]
