In Postal III, The Postal Dude emigrates to Paradise's sister town of Catharsis as he previously blew up Paradise with a nuclear bomb. Due to the economic meltdown, the Dude drives into town and becomes stranded because he can not afford a tank of gas. He must then find work and do various odd jobs to escape the town.

Poorly optimized, crashes every once in a while, loading times are extreme, and the attempts at political humor are stale and detached. Otherwise, gameplay is pretty fun, graphics are really nice, and the branching story isn't terrible, at least when standing on it's own.

****. THIS. GAME.

Still sucks. But Zoom Platform Team did a good job fixing it through DLL Injectors.

The Postal series has always been an enjoyable one, But even someone like me who played most Postal and Postal 2 really cannot justify this one.. It really is not what i'd call worthy of being Postal III.

Instead of either a top down 2D perspective or an First Person View, Postal III has a behindview Third-person view (like in SOCOM Us Navy Seals). Once more, you control the postal dude, having moved to a new city, He is looking for a new life.

What makes Postal III unenjoyable? Well..first, The controls and animations are very poor:Walking feels slippery and aiming is hard. Several returning weapons are the Shovel, MG, and Gas Can..while new weapons like the "Badger Saw" are introduced but again, Are hard to use.

The camera is clumsy:Walking will make the camera move automaticlly and this can mess you up if you cannot see who is attacking you, The game also has a "rating" system that takes aways the fun:Going postal will give you the ***** ending (spoiler) if you act peaceful and use non-violence (again spoiler) You'll get the ending.

While not the worst sequel to a game i've seen, Postal III does not feel like a postal game.. Or even a game.

* Well to sum it up, the problem of this game is that is just plain boring, it fails to recapture the ridicolous morbid fun of its predecessor.
* The graphics are good, it runs on Source Engine and looks alright to me, although there some mighty performance glitches with frame rate dropping.
* The open world is there partially, but you cannot complete missions as you like but have to stick to the main story line.
* You revisit the outdoor locations several times during the game, which gets repetitive and the task you get are one stereotype.
* You collect something, then all of sudden there is a riot by some of the minorities or some other group of extremists, which you have to eliminate.
* You cannot get inside any building, you can take a look indoors only during missions, which is a nice change of pace, then you go back outside to one of the three main locations: downtown of city, mexican border or some kind of farm.
* I loved Postal 2 for not being the perfect game, but for trying not to be convetional and yet entertaining, but this one just couldn't hold up its potential.
