Pixel Miners is an upcoming game being developed by Oraki51, BlueLogic, and Redseven at Blue Cake Studios. The game is a 2D platformer that combines the elements of a role-playing game, a hack and slash game, and a mining game with tons of randomly generated and preset monsters, items, and worlds to explore. The graphics and art are a combination of old school 8, 16, and 32 bit along with more modern digital art to create a unique experience.
Pixel Miners will finally see the light of day. Also, the 1900's was a wonderful era.

Man its been forever since the last news post and we apologize for the delay. Blue was just our primary artist but wanted to join the programming ranks so during the "dark ages" (when this game went dead for a bit) he was busy learning and now knows enough to help me. During that time we've experimented with code and art (I have to say Blue is a very, VERY fine sprite artist) and we are now comfortable enough to release something.
BlueLogic and I have been working very hard to deliver you the first build of Pixel Miners. We're somewhat finished with what we need to do so expect a release this month. Unfortunately this build will not be much playable. You won't be able to mine or fight, just explore a small but beautiful test world. We decided to make a launcher that can launch the game, update the game, and give you release notes and other news.
In case that paragraph wasn't satisfying, here's a shortened version of it filmed early 1900's style:
EPILEPSY WARNING(CONTAINS FLASHING IMAGES)
Apparently I fly planes when I'm 8-Bit. Anyways, we hope you are excited for the first release and keep on supporting us. Thanks!
