What can schools learn from video games? This is the question that the people of “Finding Your Science”, a videocast hosted by the National Science foundation, ask the linguist James Gee of Arizona State University in the latest episode. Mr. Lee brings up all kinds of pro video game arguments that I desperately needed when my parents told me to study maths instead of playing Goldeneye on my Nintendo 64. I post the link to this video in good hope that other kids could use this today. The coolest part: scenes from our game (among others *cough*) are shown during the interview. See that picture of Albert Einstein near the end of the video? This makes the work on this game feel even more important. Regardless I somehow believe this was not what my parents had in mind, when they said they would love to see my work one day being recognized by the world of science…
