"Outblaze" is a simple top-down space shooter. The gameplay is almost classical with a few twists. Levels are randomly generated, usually you'll be meeting a boss in the final area of each. Your goal is to complete as much levels as possible upgrading your ship in-between. After passing several "preset" levels tougher enemies will keep coming. The game pace is variable in range from speedrun to more "tactical" approach. Different enemies require different tactics to beat. It's not necessary to kill'em all, sometimes evasion works best. Default controls are WSAD keys (or arrows) and mouse. It's possible to use touchscreen or accelerometer on devices that support them.
This is the demo version of top-down shooter game "Outblaze". It's Win32 build, doesn't require installation, just unpack and run .exe file.
Nice game. Controls and movement of the ship was kinda of slow, but graphics are nice and so was the design of the ship.
Thanks for the response. As for controls, I think I just like'em slow and ponderous :) Anyway, after 1st level you can upgrade ship thrust so it will be moving like 1.5 times faster.
