Yes it is true, another game called Off Grid is in development. Even though we spelled our name in one word "OffGrid", it could become confusing down the road.
Their game has nothing to do with "Off the Grid" as this other game we found called "Off Grid", which is an adventure, satire and stealth game about a mishap antihero following real-world events surrounding data privacy.
So we decided in order to avoid any problems down the road, we would simply go ahead and change our name. After extensive searching to make sure we wouldn't have the same problem, we change our game name to "Off the Grid". You will now see this change reflected in our IndieDB headers, facebook fan page, website and logo.
