Noxious Gauntlet
Feb 8, 2012 Full Version 2 commentsNOXIOUS GAUNTLET MODE ACTIVATED! Gauntlet mode has been released. Play the game with all its glory against waves and waves of enemies.
Noxious is a third-person shooter which takes place in a research facility. You, a scientist, got trapped inside when the facility went into lock down due to the test subjects escaping containment. You must reroute power from around the facility to a large laser cannon to blow your way out.

Its been almost one year since the release of our game. We would once again like to thank you all for helping pretty much every developer here obtain jobs in the community. This game was a fantastic journey for all of us. This game was made in only 5 months and we all worked very hard on it as a whole. To see that it is still popular to this day is an achievement that none of us thought was possible. Thank You.

Really impressive project. The concept, controls, and assets are really well done. I noticed some missing animations (like strafing) and some places where the game could have used some more polish. Other than that, really worth checking out and playing.

Hey, I was wondering if you guys can help with this. Eveyrtime I start playing it, the camera goes absolutely beserk, it constantly zooms in and out, and sometimes goes black. Is there anything I can do on my end to fix this as I know it might not be the game itself (oh and there is no voice over what so ever)
When I start it up it says cannot load shader. Can you help me figure this out without having to spend money
When i start the game, there's a green cloud and nothing else. How do I fix this?
I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT430 graphics card... and DirectX up to date.
this is practically dead space
Wow, there are a lot of comments on this thing lately haha. None of has have logged in to check the status of our game for quite awhile. I was a lead artist on this game, we know it was like dead space, we designed and developed the entire game from the ground up in 5 months. This was a student project. My name is Eric btw.
Hello, I come to ask a couple of things.
1 - The game has no way of Saved?, Yesterday I played about 2 hours and stop playing today and I have to start from all over again: P.
There is some lag, and I have a good PC, that run many more heavy games.
2 - could make a Spanish version?
Hey Wiz, sorry for the late reply, none of us have checked the status of this game for awhile, there is no save feature, we just didn't have time to put it in. This was a student project that we had to design and develop in 5 months. I was lead artist on the title, my name is Eric.
Hi, Misfits folks!
I'd like to report some bugs I've experienced during Noxious Demo gameplay.
When tried to play, I received an error about Textures weren't loaded. It occurred in the Intro menu (Start menu) and even inside the game. None of textures were loaded and the meshes (static meshes) were showed in transparency. Player character (dynamic mesh) hasn't textures too, but he was showed as a solid dark color.
I tested Noxious in two different PC with different OS and specs:
PC 1:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
i7 Core 2600 3.4Ghz
8 GB memory Kingston
NVidia GTX 470
Monitor: LCD 24'' Samsung (1920X1080 . 59 hertz)
PC 2:
OS: Windows XP (professional) sp2
Core 2 Duo 1.8 Ghz
2 GB memory Samsung
NVidia 7300 LE
Monitor: LCD 17'' Samsung (1024X780 . 75 hertz)
As I don't know if you fixed this bug yet, so I'd like to report it to you.
I think your game proposal is awesome and, as game developer too, I'd like to help reporting it in this forum.
I hope that bug is just something in my computers ^^
cheers, Misfits!
If I remember correctly this had something to do with what version of directx you are running, but I can't remember off hand. Sorry for the late reply man, I appreciate you taking the time trying to make it work. None of us have checked the status of our game in quite some time. We experienced a lot of bugs and memory leaks throughout development that we just simply couldn't fix because of our short design and dev time. We designed and built this game from the ground up in 5 months.
oops, fixing my report, I installed the full version, not demo. sorry!
