Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - Breakthrough is the second expansion to Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, and requires the original game. Just like Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - Spearhead, this expansion takes place in a different part of the war during a different period, compared to the original.

I would like to clarify:
1. The main objective of this project is not only “redrawing” or upscaling all game textures, but also a complete improvement of the graphic component, within the limits that the engine allows.
2. The very first task that is set now, and which is partially completed, is the improvement of game textures. Their resolution was increased approximately four times. Not only neural network algorithms are used, but also something is supplemented, completed manually. At the moment, the pre-alpha version of this texture pack is ready, testing of improved elements is in full swing.
3. The next task is to improve game effects, which is possible thanks to writing various scripts that the engine uses as shaders. In the future, this will allow, for example, the use of water reflections (approximately the same as in the Call of duty 1-2), and the improvement of lighting and shadows.
4. The effects of post-processing at the moment allow you to see the result that this project is aiming for, however, using Reshade is possible, but not so useful, since this affects the stability of the game, and also does not always benefit the graphic component.
