Machine Runner, a continuous runner twitch based arcade game. Full release version 1
Machine Runner is a continually scrolling 2D platform arcade game, where you must keep R.0.B the robot alive for as long as possible. The aim of the game is to run as far as you can by jumping and rolling your way over and between the randomly placed platform segments. The scroll speed may be slowed down or sped up when R.0.B runs over a time-machine, which will animate to show when they are active. I'm currently testing the final Beta of this game, and will be releasing a free version imminently. If people like this game I plan on releasing a paid version with enhanced features and on-line scoreboard in the not to distant future. Machine Runner was written in C# using XNA.
There were some problems with the previous two video files not running on some systems.
I have now removed the defective files and replaced them with new video, which has been tested on a variety of systems and should now run fine...
There are now two files, the first shows the menu screen and help system, the second gives game-play footage.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
