We are 4 German students of Media IT and interactive entertainment. During our studies
we try to create a game that challenges our skills and helps us to get better
in what each of us wants to do. By presenting our project here on ModDB we want
to gain interest of players around the world and keep you updated on the
progress of our game.
Lithium is a psychedelic Horror Adventure,
built with UDK. The Point of view is first person and it will feature a
playtime of 1-2 hours.
We are poised to create an immersive game
that will enclose you in a world full of twisted events and psycho thrill.
Combining elements of movies and games, we want to make an experience that's
cinematic and interactive at the same time. A dusky mood and cryptic
hallucinations will create an atmosphere that chains you to the distressed main
In the game you will accompany Catherine,
our main character, on a journey full of horrors and hardship. Your decisions
will have an impact on the story line, which will make it a unique and
interactive experience. It's a little like those horror books where you had to
decide what the protagonist should do and then had to turn the page to read the
results of your decision. Of course Lithium will be more than that, but I think
that example conveys the basic idea of our game pretty well.
We are currently busy working on all
aspects of production and have created an early prototype and a couple of
assets so far.

You might have been wondering why we've stopped posting updates. Well the reason for that was that our semester had ended and we had quite a bunch of tests to do and prepare for.
The great news is, that we have the opportunity to present our project at gamescom 2013. We are excited and have been working insane hours to get more assets in the game, and finally started to put a few bigger pieces of the level together. Additionally we started bringing sound into our first cutscene and been polishing animations and matinee sequences to get the first cutscene finished for gamescom.
Today we want to show you all the environment assets we've been recently making. This time our concept artist Hanschi, is responsible for most of the modelling as i was busy enough making the textures, importing and managing our assets and bringing everything together in udk. I think she's done a great job and matched the models really well to the concepts that she posted here on moddb a while ago.
