Mega-City One, a city of over 400 million people - every one of them a potential criminal. It is the third decade of the 22nd Century, unemployment is rife, boredom is universal and only the Judges can prevent total anarchy. Empowered to dispense instant justice, they are Judge, Jury and Executioner all in one. The most feared and respected of all the Judges is you, Judge Dredd.
Allows you to: - Use any screen resolution. - Use any game FOV. - Play in windowed mode. - Resize the game videos to the screen size. (Originally the screen resolution was changed to match the video resolution) Unpack the patcher to the Judge Dredd game folder. The patcher looks for an executable named Dredd.exe, but will ask the user for another executable if the default cannot be found. An alternative executable must be provided on every runtime, as it's not saved anywhere. Created for the GOG.com version of Judge Dredd, but it should work on other versions too, as long as the executables do not differ too much.
- The patcher is dreddfully slow. It takes about 5-20 seconds to start the game. I had to add some custom features to the loader, and couldn't be arsed to optimize it. At least for now, you'll have to deal with it.
- The game attempts to resize the window every now and then, I didn't write any custom feature to block this. If it's enough of an annoyance, I might fix it.
- The configurator requires .NET 2.0 runtime.
