a couple days ago i announced my new project, Legendary Motor Knight! Joylancer via twitter. i started this project early december. it's an action platformer with a motorized lance. it'll be coming out before the end of the year.
the gameplay of Joylancer is heavily dependent on using the lance to defend yourself and move around.
Joy's lance, the Joylance, is powered by a motorcycle engine and can be charged up by revving the engine repeatedly to build energy.
She is currently capable of performing air dashes with the Joylance, and can perform high jumps by jumping while revving up the Joylance.
lance mechanics will play a big part of the platforming in this game.
