Urban Terror is a free multiplayer first person shooter developed by FrozenSand, that (thanks to the ioquake3-code) does not require Quake III Arena anymore. It is available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh. Urban Terror can be described as a Hollywood tactical shooter; somewhat realism based, but the motto is "fun over realism". This results in a very unique, enjoyable and addictive game. Please post all support issues in the forums for the game.

xubuntu 12.04 amd64, radeon hd 57xx w/ fglrx my menu is stripped like the french flag, as well as the crosshairs and "connect" button. verifying the files and changing video drivers had no effect. any advice would be greatly appreciated. ah, there is an issue with the game. if you have this issue, then go to the urban terror forums and check the sticky on ui (user interface) issues. you will need to download a patch executable for the game. move it to /desura/common/iourbanterror, then make it read/write by "others" and a "progam" ( sudo chmod 775 ioUrbanTerror.x86_64 && sudo chmod +x ioUrbanTerror.x86_64 ) i ran it once via terminal and then ran it via desura FTW |
