Icarus is a 2D ambient platformer game for Windows featuring unique game mechanics, engaging atmosphere, and a living world. Take the role of a lowly beggar, Icarus, as he finds himself put in a position of great power and responsibility. Choices are made through gameplay, not cumbersome dialogue trees, and will ripple throughout your dynamic story. It's a retro quest with modern twists.

You'll notice that both of the screenshots include interesting terrain that has been procedurally generated. The topography of each level will never be the same twice which leads to interesting platforming challenges.
This also shows off the day-night cycle and the unique lighting system. As you progress through the level you may find it more treacherous to continue while the sun is down and bandits may be lurking just beyond the shadows...
