This is perhaps the worst piece of concept art I've seen on this site. Concept art is supposed to help designers build on top of the original Idea and get a better picture on how something should be. This shows absolutely nothing on how this environment should be designed, and the "Forerunner Concept" is nothing more than a cut of triangular structure, with no sort of design theory whatsoever.
Well, should I call it very early game art that I drew for experimenting purposes? No. I have actual concepts that haven't been scanned and this was lurking on top so I decided to color it and didn't back the file up, so...
How did you know I didn't draw this to show what the cables looked like coming out of the rocks.
Maybe you can use your imagination, and not only stick to thinking what the title says.

I agree with Klammy, i don't care if its an "early drawing" you should really only show the finish concept art, or at least practice drawing/coloring.
I do not want to be offensive, but this is trash. The forerunner structure does not have any variations in color. That is the same for everything else in this. It just looks bland. There are also white spots everywhere.
Really could have been done better. I am disappointed. :(
