Decades have passed since the war erupted between the United Space Federation and The Alliance of Free Worlds. A bloody conflict that seemed to have reached a stalemate is now about to change, when a thrid faction suddenly appears. Take control of a fleet commander returned from exile, rise through the ranks of the United Space Federation forces and join an epic war across the stars. Start with a small group of frigates, and climb your way to controlling battleships, carriers and planetary bases, in huge space battles and boarding actions. Build space stations and orbital facilities to fortify your position, build your fleet, extract minerals and research upgrades. Execute boarding actions using marine special forces, and bombard your enemies with orbital long range cannons.

Major Silas of the Alliance of Free Worlds' fleet.

Posted by on

Major Silas was the youngest officer in the Alliance fleet to have been awarded ship command.
A brilliant tactician that earns the respect of everyone that serves with her, Silas has yet to earn her superiors’ trust – more than one time she’s been reprimanded for putting her men’s lives above the mission.

Raised in the poor agricultural world of Panix II, Silas has witnessed the brutality of war since she was a child, when the USF bombed her planet and her parents were killed.

Silas is currently serving in the Gemini Sector, where she leads a small task force in patrol missions.

Don't really care, modded starships and skirmishes will be the majority of the time on this game for me.

Officer Silas, of the ISDII Emperor's Fist. I like the sound of it.

I dont know. I enjoy the personality of characters that will potentially come under my command.

Having trusted officers at the head of squadrons or fleets is much better than "Random Admiral/captain #473"

Go Silas!

It depends on how well the game makes use of them. Most games it might as well be 1s and 0s, there are some games like UFO where you care about your guys, so when one dies it's heartbreaking.
