You will be called upon to rally and fight alongside your people, ascend to the seat of power, and experience the true meaning of love and loss while defending your throne. In your quest to seize power and defend your kingdom, the choices you make will change the world around you, for the greater good or your own personal gain. Who will you become? A rebel without a cause, the tyrant you rebelled against, or the greatest ruler to ever live?
Mash up “The Sims” and an action adventure RPG and you get Fable III. Although the game starts out slow, the storyline, strong characters, and difficult decisions pick up after about four hours and the game becomes engaging and engrossing. I would say that the game is more complex than the original Fable – you can buy property, purchase businesses, carry on multiple families, and make decisions that have drastic effects on the people and the landscape. The combat is slightly above mediocre though with simplistic melee and ranged options. Magic gives you a lot options with the ability to combine two spells for a combined effect but is still simpler than other games like Skyrim or even the original Fable. Is Fable III the best RPG of all time? No. Is it a top-ten RPG? No. Is it a solid RPG worth about $10 and 20 hours worth of your time? I would say so. If you’re looking for a lite RPG with a good story that is a little off the beaten path – you’ll find it with Fable III.
Played on XBOX. Brilliant game, yes it can be better and Fable 2 had better game play. But Fable 3 has a far better story line, cliched yes but the fact you would think "Becoming King/Queen = End of Game" But no when you become the King or Queen a new part decides to appear and it was also well implemented. Great Graphic style and to be honest I prefer the Sancturary, it seams a lot more friendly then the inventory from Fable 2. BUT I WARN ANYONE GOING TO BUY THIS GAME. Do NOT trust any reviews from anyone, you have to play it to find out if you will like it.
