Excellence is a 2D vertical scrolling shoot'em up using modern 2D technologies to give a thriving and beautiful playing experience. The game is aimed to offer tactical and smart gameplay, instead of requiring a good learning of the stages, using some randomly spawned challenges to the players. It is based on a simple story of good and evil, fighting for the survival of the planet being threatened by an overused antigravity technology.
Before the discovery of the antigravity technology, humanity entered a new world war that caused the polution level on the planet to rise to tremendous levels, resulting on the melting of the last eternal ices. This town is an exemple of the result of a reconstruction plan after the war : a half-submerged chinese city, now using vertical farms to sustains its overgrowing population, still full of tradition and hope for the future.
