The Indie Mine Interview with Chaosoft Games
On the eve of the release of EvilQuest on Xbox Live Indie Games, Chaosoft Games programmer Forrest McCorkle gave an insightful interview about the game while he had some down time between the holiday season and the new year. The interview addressed a variety of topics including: lessons learned from the release of Chaos Shift, the first title from Chaosoft Games; an overview of EvilQuest; and the strategy of releasing an indie game while avoiding a minefield of AAA holiday release titles.
"...The boss battles and cutscenes were the two elements that immediately caught my attention in the trailers I’ve seen for the game. It’s a level of presentation quality I’m not used to seeing in the Xbox Live indie marketplace."
