looks good. Has just about the same effect as a higher poly model, with less rendering.

That's coming along nicely, though he needs more detail obviously (which I'm sure you are making.) At the moment he kinda looks like those NVA soldiers during Vietnam.
He will look german soon enough.
Would look cool with some ammo on him, but the textures on this can do magic.
