Silent Haze MX addon - Edgar Torronteras' eXtreme Biker

This track was originally released as Fall Silent by NSR_Haven. We rode the track and thought the track had a lot of potential, so we asked him for the dispmap and his permission to make a Special Edition. We released it as Fall Silent S.E., in August 1st of 99 with launching of Twisted DIRT, for Motocross Madness. The track was in the top 20 at MCM Empire for quite some time and is still rated at number 20 as of this date March 13, 2000.

This track takes great timing in order to complete a good lap time! Justin's best lap time is a 1:51 with the AI's best being 1:59 and usually averaging around 2:02. We worked really hard on the spline to help the AI's get around faster. We had trouble with the new table top with the AI's...they want to turn around in the air! We changed a few jumps and things to adapt the game more for the EB engine.

Track Style/Layout: Motocross

The track has the same original layout, with some minor changes! We've removed the Quad and made it simply a Huge triple! The AI's can make the triple....but its not as easy as you may think.....! Added banked/rounded berms in a few turns too, to help with turning. A few extra whoops in the timing section was also added. Justin and I really like the games ability to go through tunnels....so we added a tunnel over the whoop section.

The Start was moved to help the AI's get off to a better start.....and completely change the way the game looked when at the gate. Extra time was spent at the refreshment stand....and we've also displayed a few trophies which will be presented to the winners....heheheeeee! Go by the refreshment stand and check them out. Justin also did his best on these new textures and added particles and fog to make the track look like an early morning race! Actually, Jus Man and I race and in Mississippi once and practice was ran during a heavy fog, on one October Morning!!! We thought it would be cool to recreate this experience. We hope everyone enjoy's this new track!!!!!

Use WinZip to unzip the file and then just simply copy the "silenthaze.WLD" file into your Extreme Biker track folder.
