This game is excellent. Skill-based platforming ala Super Meat Boy, and combo-oriented combat which captures the spirit of Devil May Cry. Excellent original music reminiscent of classics like Donky Kong Country. Controls are great, so long as you have a gamepad, because the keyboard controls are awful.

The artstyle is simple in concept but complex in execution; this game is stunning. The art style is beautiful and inspiring, with vector-style sprites featuring fluid animations.

Single-player is the star here, with unlockable levels begging to be challenged again and again to achieve the perfect run. With online leaderboards and shareable replays for each level, it can get quite competitive, shaving off milliseconds from your score! Multiplayer is fun, but not nearly as addictive as the core game. Custom maps are fun, but the map sharing can be glitchy and the interface is a bit confusing.

This game is incredibly difficult, but rewarding and fun with a lasting appeal, all at a low cost! Highly recommended - just remember to bring a gamepad!
