Sadly I am having loads of trouble making a turn-based fighting system and any plans I had are really having issues in some spot. I am probably going to switch it to have rpg horror maker-like enemies where touching them dies. This will then allow more freedom for level design and a little bit of convenience since I now only require a patrol path and not an hp level, attack level, movesets, etc.
Navigate Scrolling Rooms and Fight System update!
I was tinkering with some of the features and tutorials in GameMaker, and i came across an isometric tutorial which contained the information of scrolling rooms. Now I can have the game follow your character through big hallways or navigate through generally large rooms without it being zoomed out.
