Double Cross is a two player first person co-op game. You find yourself and your partner marooned in an abandoned city and will need to traverse the dangers that it conceals to discover a way to out. Each player acquires a set of goggles at the beginning of the game which allows them to see specific colour enemies/items. However they cannot harm the enemies or interact with the items that are visible to them. They must tag the enemy/item to make it visible to the other player who can then kill the enemies or interact with the item. The problem is only one of you can escape alive... Will you double cross your partner as soon as possible and brave the city on your own? Or will you work together and risk being double crossed yourself?

Games created in UDK seem to be very performance driven on the individual production. For example I know of some games (made in UDK) that run flawlessly on a system when that same system cant play another game also made in UDK. As Pete has said, we are trying to produce a game that is as widely accessable to as many players as possible. Midnight Games are ensuring that we are not overlooking anything that can be potentially negative towards players of our game. What would be brilliant is that when we have our first playable build, that as many people could test it for us as possible. This will ensure we have enough data to optimise the game correctly. :)

The graphics just scream UDK. Which means I can't run it. :|

The graphics are very much early development and there are several placeholders in there as well. Wat problems do you have with running UDK games? Hopefully we can take it onboard and make sure that the game is playable for as many people as possible! :)

I think he just means he can't play many games that run on the Unreal 3 Engine because of performance issues, as in his PC may not handle it well.
