Just perfect, insanely addictive with extremely fun multiplayer modes.
Pros:
- Plays fast and smooth. When there's many monsters to fight, it's intense and fun.
- The music is good (at least when you like metal).
- The map editor is simple yet very good, allowing for creating rich SP or MP maps in no time. +2 points just for this.
Cons:
- Too much platforming. I'm here for playing an FPS, not Prince of Persia.
- In the campaign, looking for secrets kills the fast-pacing.
- Single checkpoint save file and no quick save have never made a game better, especially when there's so much insta-death platforming.
Metroid Prime 4 looks gorgeous.
Doom remake upholds the reputation of these strong innovative FPS games real well I think. Not being a hardcore fan of Doom games I managed nonetheless to massively enjoy the variety of cool weapons, beautiful maps and impressive monsters the game offered. As smooth and as fast-paced as it ran I barely see a flaw in it - maybe could've been a bit longer. That's it.

So much fun. Feels like old Doom all over again. Weapons are great. Enemies come apart nicely. Maps are sprawling and fun to search through. Grade A stuff. And now that id is working on the multiplayer and Snapmap that side of the game can only get better. DOOM!!
