The Old God has left the world and the pretenders are awakening and coming out from hiding. You start the game by designing one of the pretender gods that will compete for true ascension to godhood. The type of god can range from a magically powerful arch mage to an ancient kraken or a mystic monolith that people pray to. Your pretender controls one of over sixty different nations and with the help of that nation he will spread his word and battle the other pretenders. Dominions 3 is a turn based strategy game. You can play single- or multiplayer (1 - 23 players) with simultaneous turns. There are more than 1500 different units, 600 spells and 300 magic items in the game. The game also features a medieval musical score by Erik Ask Uppmark and Anna Rynefors, both awarded the title of Musicians of the Realm by the Swedish Zornmärkeskommiten. Dominions 3 is a highly detailed game and a 300 page pdf manual is included in the download.

Short and probably slightly imprecise answers: 1) > 2 armies move at each other, what determines where the combat takes place? Their sizes and random chance. 2) >2 armies from the same side move into the same enemy province, will they attack together or get separated They will attack together. 3) >an army has orders to move to enemy province but an enemy army also has orders to attack the province first army is supposed to leave, will the two armies fight and will the first army attack its ordered province? They won't fight with each other, first army will attack an ordered province unhindered. Edited by: chelubey |

(Unless it chooses not to move, in which case I feel like a fool for not having tried to catch it ) This is very significant, I had not known that. I assumed it was some random, like #1: sometimes you'd catch him (if you got to move first), sometimes not. (It's hard to test, because if you do catch him, you don't know if he was not trying to move, or was moving toward you.) Do you have a reference for that, please? Or can others confirm? |
