Sequel of the game Digmaan. Digmaan: The Aftermath will offer a great gameplay, great graphics and challenging levels. Much better than the first Digmaan, much intense and with great storyline. After months of war between the Earth and Jupiter, the Aliens decided to left Earth because it can no longer fight the growing force of the resistance, and with their force were slowly being beaten and their main base has been terminated by the resistance, they are now incapable of sustaining their military defense and invasion plans. We thought that their defeat will bring peace and harmony in our planet. But we are wrong, while we celebrate for the victory of winning the war, there is something happening somewhere in Earth that is so obscure, no one knows anything and something about it except from the Aliens. Before living the Earth, the Aliens left something for us, that is beyond our understanding and beyond the fear that they bought to Earth the first time they came.

It's not 9.99 xD the price is still undecided, we know it's not worth the price in terms of generality, but if we will look at how much money we already put onto it, it will worth it, but again, it will not even reach $9 or so.. Thanks...

Try selling for $4.99 then when more people start to buy raise the price a bit.

Mkilbride is right about it, maybe we should sell it on a fixed price and if no one will really buy, then we will reduce the price, but we will not put it's price to a high one like the previous posts think that it will be 9.99? No, it will be more lesser. We know that it's heard to earn money and we do not want to rip people off their money. We do it the reasonable way, that everyone will agree and will be happy.

Hi there SFOD, so what if you know how I made it? It doesn't matter anyway, I am not forcing you to buy it nor telling you to buy it, gamers may buy it if they feel they like it and just want to have some fun, and they may not so as they please, it doesn't matter. I did not even put up a price how would you know I will sell it for $9? Well mate, it's not $9. And it will not even be higher than 9. I guess it doesn't matter here how we made the game or not, what important is that we made games for people who love to play games no matter what. Indie devs or AAA devs, it doesn't matter, we both make games, although their budget is higher were still the same, we make games, no matter what game play, difficulty, graphic quality, no matter what, it will all still fall in one hell of a word "games". Maybe us developers are very critical on choosing what games we play or what the game would look like, but not in the eyes of others. Not all people seek how it was made or how it will look like, for them it's a game. If your thinking about the engine, then so what? It's not with the engine mate. Even if I use AAA engines, nor the crapiest engine, I will still make it good. Cause I work and create games with heart. This is my passion. Effectiveness, efficiency, capability and commitment, are my key to success. In the eyes of others my game may not be good or maybe a great one, but in my own eyes I know my game is good and I believe in my game and my skills. Oh by the way, It's not NINE DOLLARS $9.99/9.00 it will not be. The price is still undecided! UNDECIDED... Anyway thanks for making this section a bit popular for your comments keep this thread pumping out.

To cut it short: How he made it doesnt matter at all. Yes, it`s FPSC, yes he`s using stock stuff only, but in the end it only matters how the game is. In this case you would have to ban allmost all Iphone 2D Games which consist in their core of 1 (!) huge Photoshop file with some hundred layers and a few lines of code. There is nothing more in most of them and still they are popular and well-selling...

I also always shake my head when Indies come along with the argument "Yeah, the game is not that good, but you have to keep in mind it was done by ONE person alone".
Sorry, but that won`t make the game better. On the other hand, if Digmaan is great it really doesn`t matter if it was klicked together with simplest means within a few weeks.
I have been involved in some Game projects so far

Mobygames.com

some of them with years of developement in huge teams, some made by few with simplest means. Size, money and tools don`t matter, only the game itself.

According Prize Tag:

I wanted to sell my first FPSC-made game for € 9,90. The publisher raised it to 19,90 - and in Germany the distributor to 29,90. This was NUTS and still it sold well. (Not that I`ve seen any money from that but the publisher made a good deal on my back).

No, not like that. I didn't mean to upset anyone. I meant that ive made a game like that before and its just not as appealing to me anymore.

May I see the game? Hey this is not being sarcastic or what.. Just wanna see the game that you've made. Don't worry I am not really upset, I just want to express my feelings as much as you do when writing down posts to this thread, this is a public thread so anyone has the right to voice out what they feel they wanna write. We have the freedom of expression and speech therefore don't worry, promise I am not really upset. Maybe it just made me sick and tired of what other people think of the engine we are using, but promise am not upset, am used to that. The post I have there is not only for you, but for all the people who can't understand what game making is all about. Thanks for your suggestions about the pricing, actually I might go with one of your suggestion above. It's not a bad price.
